Greenvale is a typical New England farm located in Portsmouth RI, near Newport Rhode Island that has been in the same family since 1863. It is listed on the State and National Registers of Historic Places. Our goal is to maintain this cultural resource, a piece of American history in a productive and meaningful way. Beautiful grapes, delicious estate grown wines and the creation of a wonderful vineyard and winery destination for visitors is our path to this goal. Please join us for Jazz on Saturdays from Memorial Day though October. Come to one of our book signings by local National authors throughout the year, or attend a Friday night concert featuring artists such as Blues Guitarist Paul Geremia or Irish and Folk Music with Maine musicians Two Old Friends. Our Stable turned Tasting Room provides a wonderful venue for our entertainment. The Tasting Room has great acoustics and is an award winning restoration for Adaptive reuse. It is also a wonderful place for your own special event, wedding, rehearsal dinner – the list goes on. We produce about 3500 cases of wine annually from our 24 acres of grapes. We are committed to Historic Preservation, Conservation of Open Space, and fine wines. We are described as a small producer of exceptional wines. We are a little hard to find but very beautiful. Come tour our vineyards, taste our wines and see for yourselves.
