We are thrilled to announce the return of our  of Merlot! The 2024 vintage was hand-harvested, whole-cluster pressed, and fermented at low temperatures -- all to accentuate a fresh fruitfulness in the finished wine. This dry rosé expresses beautiful aromas of cherry, pomegranate, and hibiscus. On the palette, the wine carries flavors of strawberry, mixed with that the refreshing maritime minerality -- creating an experience that altogether pairs exceptionally with Spring.

The 2024 Unoaked Chardonnay is produced from a blend of three Chardonnay blocks planted here between 1983-1992. Remarkably, the 1983 vines are some of New England’s oldest Chardonnay vines. Grown in sandy-loam soils which slope eastward towards the Sakonnet River, these chardonnay clusters are harvested by hand and whole-cluster pressed. Aged and fermented in 100% stainless steel, the 2024 Unoaked Chardonnay seeks to highlight the bright fruitfulness intrinsic to our region. Notable aromas include green apple, nectarine, and honeysuckle. On the palette, the wine bursts with flavors of peach, followed by a lively minerality, and dry finish. Unoaked Chardonnay is a perfect wine heading into the summer months. 

We would like to introduce to you our newest red wine - the 2023 Greenvale Malbec. This wine is an assemblage of fruit from three various regions: Southern New England, the North Folk of Long Island, and the Trás-os-Montes region of Portugal -- all of which were fermented on site, here in Portsmouth. The decision to experiment with the fruit grown beyond our vineyard occurred out of a curiosity to create a unique, multi-regional red blend -- and we are incredibly excited about the results. This wine is a medium bodied, deeply fragrant red, with rich aromatics of dark fruit. On the palette we have notes of blackberry, blueberry, and black pepper. 15 months in oak. 85% Malbec, 8% Tinta Barocca, 4% Merlot, and 3% Touriga Nacional.

We’re pleased to release the 2023 Albariño! Our Albariño is a classic take on the Spanish cool-climate varietal, with bright notes of white peach, ginger, and lemongrass. This is an excellent representation of Aquidneck Island’s ability to produce fruit-forward, well balanced wines, which pair perfectly with seafood. Fermented and aged in stainless steel.

2023 Cabernet Franc Rosé is a novel expression of our estate-grown Cabernet Franc. Produced by gently whole-cluster pressing the fruit directly after harvesting it, this light rosé offers nuanced flavors associated with delicate tannin extraction—most notably: cherry, peach, and grapefruit. Fruity, dry, and minerally, this wine is a wonderful demonstration of the versatile Cabernet Franc varietal, and we’re incredibly excited to showcase it for you!

Skipping Stone is a blend of Cayuga and Vidal Blanc. Very light in color, this wine is aromatic with a bright floral nose. It has delicious fruit flavors and is refreshing on the palate. It is off-dry with a nice balance of fruit and acidity. Skipping Stone is great by itself with cheese and like the Vidal Blanc is superb with spicy food.
